Little Muslim Books - How a Mum discovered what Muslim parents are looking for!
Little Muslim Books was founded by Shabeena Rehman who is the author of the Little Muslim Books’ content. Before setting up Little Muslim Books, Shabeena worked in research and insight after completing a BSc (Hons) in Sociology and an MSc (Hons) in Social Research and Evaluation. Her work with high profile brands, collating and analysing consumer opinion, has helped Shabeena to discover what Muslim parents are looking for. In addition, with two small children, Shabeena was looking for ways of conveying Islam to them in a fun and light hearted way, which led to the decision to write and produce her own books.
Little Muslim Books works with talented illustrators and designers to create books that engage children’s imaginations and teach them Islam in an enjoyable way. Hakeem and Zara are the main characters in some of the Little Muslim Books, which show how they learn to say phrases such as Bismillah and inshaAllah. There is also a touch and feel baby book and a soft cloth Arabic alphabet book. Little Muslim Books has also designed a unique 99 names of Allah Tree Wall Sticker in a range of colours, which as well as being a really useful Islamic educational tool, would also look great on the wall of a nursery or toy room. The 99 names of Allah Tree Wall Sticker also comes with a free download that contains the 99 names in English and Arabic, alongside their meanings.
