MyIlm - An international Islamic App
My Ilm is an exciting streaming app available on the App store and Google Play, which contains Islamic content aimed at children. It was set up by a group of four fathers who were concerned about what their children were watching online and realised the importance of providing halal content. They wanted that content to focus on Islamic morals and values, as they found that much of the online videos and apps accessible to children nowadays are contradictory to Islamic beliefs, along with the risk of inappropriate advertising or the possibility of children clicking onto adult content. They also realised that parents need something to safely occupy their children at times, and so as they could not find anything suitable, they decided to develop something themselves, and hence My Ilm was born.
My Ilm is an app that provides a safe space for children to have fun and learn about the ‘super-heroes of the Ummah.’ It contains a large library of videos and cartoons, and once downloaded, there is no need for the internet or a Wi-Fi connection. The developers of My Ilm have been careful to ensure the authenticity and suitability of all the content, guided by renowned scholars and the Islamic Shariah Council of Europe. It really in a must have app for Muslim parents and children.
